Construction Update: Walls Are Up and Progress Is Building
It has been another exciting week on our building project, and each visit to the site makes it easier to picture the future ministry spaces that are taking shape.
The most noticeable milestone this week is the completion of much of the lower-level concrete foundation walls. What was recently a large excavation is now beginning to resemble the footprint of our new building.
Along with the foundation walls, crews have continued installing concrete footings and structural foundation pads that will support the steel framework of the new sanctuary. These precisely placed foundations are critical, as they will carry the weight of the building for generations to come.
With the foundation work advancing, attention will soon begin shifting toward backfilling, additional foundation preparation, and ultimately the arrival of structural steel. Once steel begins rising, the shape of the new sanctuary will become visible from the street—a milestone many have been eagerly anticipating.
Most importantly, we're pleased to report that the project remains on schedule. Careful planning, favorable weather, and the excellent work of our construction partners have allowed steady progress throughout the summer.
As we watch these physical foundations being built, we're reminded of an even greater foundation:
"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." — 1 Corinthians 3:11
Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and faithful support of this project. Every wall poured and every footing placed represents more than construction—it represents future opportunities for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry for generations to come.
We look forward to sharing another update as the project continues to rise.
